Victoria Foundation & LISC NJ's Neighbors Helping Neighborhoods grant funded four community media cohorts across the South and West Wards of Newark, New Jersey. Most coverage of Newark comes from outside Newark. We wanted to know what changes when residents pick up the camera and learn journalism + media skills instead. They don't just document the neighborhood. They start to see it differently themselves.
